A Hearty Helping of Cuteness for Your Thanksgiving Day

Okay, so technically, it’s Turkey Day. And don’t get me wrong, I think our barnyard brethren are downright adorable (blame it on my vegetarianism, but I find their goofy little gobblers and football-shaped bodies quite cute). But if there’s one thing I’m thankful for today, it’s the company of furry friends. There’s not a day out of the year when the smiling face of a puppy or the sleepy eyes of a kitty don’t send me squealing (actually, the same goes for critter-inspired styles and decor). In the off chance that you feel the same, we behind the blog have a little T-Giving treat you might enjoy.

Recently, our Photo Team hosted a portrait day especially for our employees’ pets. Think of it as a school picture day for our canine and feline companions. Before they’re undoubtedly transformed into many a homemade holiday card, we thought we’d share some of the photos that made us go “Ooh” and “AWW!!!” And if that’s not enough, we’ve thrown in a behind-the-scenes video just for fun. May it be a 30-second break from a busy day with family, something to watch while the potatoes boil, or a much-needed pick-me-up if your football team loses (they won’t — they’re the best — but just in case).

Oh, and by the way — thank YOU for being part of our community! Your style, insights, and interests are what inspire the work we do at ModCloth and the blog, and we couldn’t be more grateful <3

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
