June is officially Adopt-A-Shelter-Cat Month, and to say that I’m excited would be a vast and tragic understatement. See, I really dig cats. To the point that it’s become a bit of a joke ’round these parts. But this is my time to shine, and all month I’ll be bringing you the latest and greatest in cat-centric content, from interviews to DIYs.

It’s never been cooler to be a cat lady, so join me in June and celebrate all the joy that our adopted feline friends bring to our lives.

+ Are you a cat lover? Be sure to share how you’ll be celebrating Adopt-A-Shelter-Cat Month in the comments!

About Julie O.

A lover of all things vintage and vintage-inspired, Julie bought her first 1950s frock in the fifth grade. Since then, Julie has become a self-described connoisseur of vintage and thrift shopping, which she shares on her blog, Orchid Grey. When she’s not scouring the racks for the perfect vintage skirt, this native New Englander can be found deftly navigating the slopes of a ski mountain, taking road-trips to the beach, and exploring new places with a vintage camera in her hand.

I’m one of the other resident cat ladies around here. I love the Teal Cat Project: http://tealcatproject.com/cats/ — for $20+, you get an upcycled ceramic cat in a lovely teal color, and most of your money goes to shelters and charities!
