The Style Gallery is a great new way for you to view, love, and share outfit photos. It’s meant to showcase all the expressive, creative, and inspirational personalities of our community!
Hi, ModReaders! You have until noon tomorrow EST to cast your vote for the winning name. Choose wisely – your title of choice could be this frock’s permanent moniker!
We’re super excited to announce the winning names of the first three garments featured in our North Poll: Name It and Win It Contest!
Congratulations to Cassandra, the winner of North Poll Name It and Win It Day 1. Her title, Meet Me at the Bar Graph Dress, rocked the polls with its humorous originality.
Congratulations to Victoria, the winner of North Poll Name It and Win It Day 2. She offered a fun spin on a universal motto with her name, Out With the Old and in With the Blue Dress!
Finally, congratulations to Sonia, the winner of North Poll Name It and Win It Day 3. She named the ‘fringe-tastic’ LBD “Speakeasy to Me Dress,” and we simply love it!
The winning name of this purple dress, along with a few others, will be announced on Monday, December 7 in both ModLife and also in our newsletter. If you’re not already receiving our newsletter, sign up on our homepage — the field to enter your email is on the left side of the screen!
Happy voting, and don’t forget to keep playing — tomorrow is your fifth chance to win sweet ModCloth gear!
What should be the winning name for the North Poll: Name It and Win It, Day 4?
A Sweetheart Named Desire Dress!
I love sweetheart necklines, and this is a perfect example! Plus, I feel like it fits with the feel of that movie 🙂
I’ll second that – A Sweetheart Named Desire Dress!
It could be because my sweetheart named it.
Some Like it Haute Dress
Cruel Impressions Dress
Vino de Milo Dress
(my personal favorite)
Does anyone know what “puplexity” is? Is it supposed to be “purplexity”… like purple??
Some of these are so unoriginal. Really? There were so many better ones submitted.
I am sad mine were not picked 🙁 but
Plum-diddly-umptious Dress was my favorite out of the names posted! Its just so cute. Great job Alex!
Mulled Wine for My Sweetheart Dress
there’s a typo in the last option of the poll: jennifer’s name for the dress was “purplexity” and not, as it is written, “puplexity”.
i’m pointing it out because it’s my favorite and i think the mistake might be hurting its chances of winning (it doesn’t really make sense without the missing ‘r’!)
I have to agree with Alex here! There were much better suggestions than these…
Ha, ha, mine was “Plum it Up” so I voted for the first one! Good luck!
Where do I write my idea for the Name and win it day 7?
HAHA um… “puplexity” thats funny… it sounds like a complex about your private parts hair or something. Lets throw an “R” in there and make it a little more reader friendly. 😉
I didn’t realize the last one is spelled wrong. Maybe they should start over…
Thanks for changing it to purplexity… doesn’t make this such a joke anymore.
Thanks for catching the typo. We’ve updated the name to the correct spelling.
Aire @ ModCloth
Item #7 it will be available for name submission on Saturday@10:30am EST.
I like “The Tell-tale Sweetheart Dress”, I think it’s a sweet spin on that dark Poe tale! 🙂
Oooh, it’s hard to choose, but I do love the Tell-Tale Sweetheart Dress. Never would have thought of that one, but it fits so well!
There’s already a “Pump Up the Volume Dress,” I think, which seems too close to “Plum-p Up the Volume.”
Wow, thanks for noticing the typo in “Purplexity” you guys! Appreciate it.
I hope no one actually thought I came up with the name “puplexity”! 🙂
I would have named it the “Nom de Peplume” Dress.
Nightingale and The Dress
Haljina (dress in Croatian)
Eggplant Me A Kiss
That’s what i put sonia as 1 of my 3!
[…] to Amelia, the winner of North Poll Name It and Win It Day 4. Her name, A Vision in Sugar Plum Dress, fit that pretty peplum […]
