    I give up! I don’t think I’m ever gonna win anything. πŸ™

  2. Rae 12/10/2009 at 1:32 pm #

I won a trash can, and I’m excited!

Don’t be too down, Katie. ModCloth has so many contests! They even have one on Facebook every Wednesday for a $25 gift card. Keep trying!

  3. Catherine 12/10/2009 at 1:55 pm #

I think the same thing as Katie. I give up.

  4. Holly 12/10/2009 at 2:05 pm #

I can not for the life of me figure out where to submit my ideas for the contests! Any help would be appreciated, thanks πŸ™‚

  5. Jane 12/10/2009 at 2:10 pm #

I don’t know about “give up,” but I’ve been generally disappointed in the names that have been chosen for the polls this contest. Past contests have brought out some inventive readers, but a lot of these name choices seem really obvious.

  6. Annie 12/10/2009 at 2:15 pm #

    Hey, Katie and Catherine!

You still have three chances to win in our North Poll: Name It and Win It Contest.

  7. M 12/10/2009 at 3:20 pm #

All are not so good in my opinion..

  9. Maddi 12/10/2009 at 5:14 pm #

πŸ™ off the top of my head I can think of five that were better than these. Not even including mine. Oh well.

  10. Holly 12/10/2009 at 5:25 pm #

Thank you Annie! I look forward to entering.

Name It/Win It is so subjective. I applaud the people who’ve “figured out” what sort of names get selected.

  12. Rachel C 12/10/2009 at 5:54 pm #

Okay, the first one and the third one are so lame! Who picked those?

  13. aire 12/10/2009 at 6:13 pm #

    Hi again Fawn,
We had a lot of fun with this contest because we have had different employees pick the finalist each day, therefore allowing variety in the names that were selected. We also feel this contest is much less subjective due to the fact that we are actually allowing you, the readers to pick the actual winners. I hope that helps clear up any confusion you may have. Good luck with your submissions on the remaining items! πŸ™‚

I think you should have more names to choose from, in the end, when “we” get to pick the winner…

  15. Rae 12/10/2009 at 6:22 pm #

When will I be notified about my prize? Just curious! It’s been a few days now and I’m getting horribly antsy! Thank you so much!

  16. aire 12/10/2009 at 6:30 pm #

    Hi Rae,
Congrats on winning! I e-mail the previous week’s winners every Monday. So you’ll be hearing from me then. πŸ™‚

I will weigh in on this one and say that “pleading quilty” actually made me smile today… I think that one is the cutest. And thanks for telling us that info, Aire… it gives some good insight into the selection process.

People! Get over the puns and start voting for allusions and references.

Crush a Cup of Wine is a line frrom Shakespeare.
